Just ordered them, we'll see how attempt number two goes. At least I don't have to wait for shipping from China this time.

Convert it all to led lol

Nah, I'm probably in the minority these days but I prefer the stock look. Like I said at the beginning of this thread the only reason I'm replacing the corner lights with LED is they're the only bulbs on the flasher circuit that won't trigger hyper flash if they burn out. I actually had the entire interior of my red truck converted to LED except the gauges and switches but I swapped it all back to incandescent years ago. I didn't like how harsh everything looked.

Situation update...

Those double sided 194 LEDs I ordered back in January finally showed up, and they do NOT work in the corner lights. I have no idea why that is, they work fine in other sockets. It's not a connection issue as I tried every possible combo of wiggling and repositioning them in the sockets. No go. Sucks because I have a ton of them now. Oh well...

I'm probably going to try these unless anyone has any other recommendations.

I like the look of those Alla 194 LEDs that @98chevy2500SS linked on the first page, but they're crazy expensive and I'm afraid they'd be noticeably brighter than the rest of my lighting on the front end. A stock 194 bulb only throws about 2 lumens so I don't want anything crazy bright.
Those LEDs should work, and look like they won't be too bright, which is what you are looking for.

Just be aware of buying LEDs in large quantities at a cheap price as they are poor quality and won't last long at all lol.

The new order from SBLEDs showed up today. These work great!

And as I mentioned previously they're a really close match for the brightness of an original 194 bulb. I'll try and get some pictures of everything soon. Every lighting upgrade I've mentioned in this thread has worked great. Hyperflash still works as it should, and now anything not effected by it on the circuit is LED.

Just finished up the Suburban and took some pictures. I'm very happy with the results. The corner marker LEDs match up really well and the 3457 tail light bulbs are a nice improvement on the rear brightness.

Front end with stock 2357A bulbs and SBLEDs 194-A-120 LEDs in the corner markers.

Rear end with upgraded 3457 tail light bulbs, parking lights on.

You didn’t install a led turn signal relay ?

DF,

Did you buy the amber corner bulbs you linked to? Was going to try them but says out of stock, lol--you must of started a buying spree, they should give you a cut......

Why haven't you installed led's in the front turn signals? Is there any led bulb that works well in the signal lights?

I prefer the stock look too, just want the lower amp draw of the led's.

Nope, that was the whole point of my questions here. I want to run incandescent/halogen bulbs and retain the hyperflash function from the factory flasher relay, but run LEDs in the corner markers which are the only socket that doesn't trigger hyperflash if they're burned out or running a lower load. If one of the main tail lights or parking lights burns out I'll still know about it via hyperflash, but the LEDs should last longer than I do so I wont worry about them as much. That and I'm running the brightest possible incandescent bulbs in my tail lights.

 Yeah, the corner marker LEDs I'm running in those pictures are these, the SBLEDs 194-A-120.

That is kind of funny, they were in stock a few hours ago.

I have no idea about LEDs for the signal lights unfortunately, as I said I prefer to keep the function of the factory load based flasher relay so I really don't know much about full LED conversion. I'm sure there are a ton of options if you want to change the flasher relay and go to a more modern look though.

Haven’t done any homework on this topic, but just a few thoughts...
1) If installing LED’s and resistors, does the OEM hyperflash function pick up on a burnt out LED?
2) Is there a relay designed for LED’s which has the hyperflash function?
