I'm Awesome
I want to put some yellow fogs on my 98 K1500. I live on the coast and drive to work in the early morning before the sun comes up and the fog is always at its thickest.
Whenever I search for aftermarket "fog lights" I usually see LED pods with a yellow lense, but a spot or flood beam pattern. I'd rather not go this route since I don't want to blind oncoming drivers or myself with too much reflection off the fog bank at eye level like my main headlights do.
I'd be willing to do either a normal reflector housing with a yellow LED bulb or a yellow LED pod, so long as it throws the light correctly. I also want it to fit either in the valence or maybe a diesel bumper. Somewhere low but tucked away and not just hanging out in the open.
Do OBS factory fogs have an actual fog beam pattern? Anyone know of any decent (but not super expensive name brand) aftermarket fogs that are actual fog lights? I'm open to suggestions here.
