Spare tire?

Hi Folks, does anyone know if an LT 285/75R16 tire will fit as a spare on 94 k1500. I have a 265/75R16 and it looks tight now especially with hitch. I personally feel the spare will be in the bed once I get some new tires.

Even my 275/60-15 didn't fit 100% with my hitch, I had to keep it about 2-3" off the saddle brackets when installing the receiver. I still believe to this day that they sent me the wrong receiver....mainly because it fit my tundra perfectly without drilling new holes in frame.

Thanks for the reply. Does not matter now. I have gone with LT235/75R16 and will leave the spare the way it is.

my 285's fit wqith my hitch, its real tight but it does fit.
