No lead time yet. Sent the order on 12/29 and I assume they were off for the new years. Hoping to hear today from them.

I found this on FB. They are 18” Detroit wheels with 4.5” backspacing. He is running a 255/45R18 up front. I found 255/45R20 from Nitto. They would be .4” wider than stock and 1.5” shorter than stock. I could probably swing a 255/50.

My wheels have 4.75” of back spacing.

@RichLo, not a bad idea if I had to do that. I could just modify my rotation pattern. I’d like for them to all be the same so I can rotate them normally. Trouble is, I have no idea what I’m doing when it comes to tire shopping for a modified truck. But I’m here to learn.

Run staggered, 18/20.
No go for this build. I still want to be able to rotate them with a conventional method. The look isn’t always something I like either. Function over form, even though the 20s might be stretching that function part a bit. I know you can still rotate them with a staggered setup.

I’ll do some more looking and come back when I’ve got some better ideas on sizes

I’m looking at tires also. Mine current set up is 255/40r17 up front and 275/40r17 back and they are way too small. Rims are 17x9 4.5 back space. I believe the truck is lowers 2/4. Any ideas to improve this look? Was thinking 255/60’s?

I can't find the chart I had for the drops, Only found this GRRRRR..

These numbers are for 2WD, stock track width, static dropped trucks
4wd trucks need to add an extra 5mm or so to the offset to be safe.
These numbers are the absolute minimum and will keep the wheel inside the fenders. Your wheel diameter, tire selection and drop will be the desiding factors in whether or not you have to roll/modify inner fenders/lips.
When you're looking to buy a wheel, you will need to know either the Offset or backspacing of the wheel. If you're looking at a wheel and it doesn't meet the specified numbers for it's width, it will not tuck and there's no chance with your stock track width. so this is to help with wheel selection.
The key number you need to assess is the front spacing. it needs to be 4.25" or less. If the front spacing on the wheel is higher than that it will not matter what the backspacing is because it will never tuck
the Categories are the width:
7"
Offset:-6mm or higher
Backspacing:3.75" or higher
8"
Offset:+6mm or higher
Backspacing:4.75" or higher
8.5"

9"

Backspacing:6.25" or higher
10"

Backspacing:6.75" or higher
10.5"
Offset:+38mm or higher
Backspacing:7.25" or higher
11"
Offset:+45mm or higher
Backspacing:7.75" or higher
