When you install it, you don't have to worry about. They (2 of them) just got jarred loose during removal (by slide hammer).Too bad you can't grease the rollers up to get em to stay put.....
Yeah, it's one of my best investments. Of course, you have to have a sturdy bench. I've used this vise so much.Everytime I see that vice, it makes me want one more or to quit following this. C clamps and wood work but a bench vice sure is handy.

That’s the only place I lift mine from If I need it really high I lift it there, set on stands then use a 4x4 as a spacer between the Jack pad andcrossmember for extra liftI've lifted by the cross member. Not ideal, but it works.
