Wing window to solid?

Seen a thread that reminded me to make this thread.
I have a 96 c1500 ext cab i want to convert the wing windows to solid ones.
Anyone ever do this or have any info.

Not saying it can't be don well but the only ones I've seen haven't looked very good.

Ive seen people shave them with a metal.panel but that looks like crap imo im just looking for solid window replacement called a glass place near me he said they have solid ones with the
Moldings and all for 381.60 both sides installed with lifetime warrenty.

I have 4 15s in a straight wall and wont be able to use them and they rattle.to much as is and moldings all falling apart

got any pics of ur setup. IIRC i could only get 2 in my 94 but it wasnt walled.

I dont know about 96 but i do know i seen a couple 88-94 year models with the ext cab windows sealed not latched at a local junkyard i go too

i got pics of box and subs stuff like that its still work in process whole interior is gutted atm sanding dash and redoing the interior and converting to power windows and locks. and so on ill probably start some kind of build log here later i suppose i have one on my other site.





jeff as for those 88-94 windows i dont think there exactly the same size.
