This sensor is on the driverside towards the front, any idea what it is?

That one goes to the gauge the other to the computer, i believe they are the same type of sensor but make sure you ask for the one you need

Thats the temp gauge sensor on the drivers side head. Nothing to do with the coolant temp sensor thats in the intake thats ran by the computer.

The one on drivers head is gauge sender, and other is ecm sensor. They are different; one wire for sender two for sensor.

Can't say which it is besides be ready for coolant to rush out! Broke it whem doing headers and had a hell of a mess haha

I just replaced that and yes have a bucket ready or something to catch the anti-freeze and do it cold

eventually you get good with those and knock sensors and its in and out with very little mess
