what cab can i use on my 96 obs

Was up gtm I have a 1996 ext cab obs the cab is badly damaged right behind the driver door I kinda pulled it out some, I really dnt wana fix it I'd rather but a 3 door cab on
My question, is the wiring the same on 96-99 or is it 96-97 and 98-99 or is ok to put a 98 cab on my 96
All I wana do is bolt it down plug it up really dnt wana rip out the dash n harnesses

Yes the wiring is close enough to the same to use any 95+ cab for your swap.

yea my 98 heavy half truck has a 96 2500 cab on it....the only wiring that i have seen ( im sure there is more) is do to with the door locks and window switches..
