Hi everyone, weird problem. Got a CE light earlier this week, pulled a code, and got a pending code P0157. But this equation isn't about the code, but the light behavior itself. The CE light came on for the pending code, and today, while driving, it went off. I scanned it, and now, it is a stored code p0157. So official code, but light is off. It should be the opposite, pending codes don't trigger a light. I shut the truck off, turned the key on, CE light came on as appropriate, and then went off after I started the truck. The only thing I replaced that has anything to do with the CE light is a rebuilt gauge cluster, and a new bulb. Anyone have any idea.why the light behaves the opposite from how it should? Or am I missing something? Truck is a 1999 K1500 Suburban. Thanks everyone.
