Upper transmission cooler fitting question

I don't like it and want to replace it is there any certain way I should go about this? Not talking about the one in the radiator itself

If it is on that 90 model blue truck, it should screw out and screw a new one on. Does it leak?

It was leaking where the rubber hose connected to it but I cranked on it a little more and fixed it but still want to change it it looks like hard line inside of the rubber hose
