You should still be getting spak regardless of how fast it is turning. Are you getting power to the coil? Check it for power and ground at the connectors.

I'm going to have to wait till tomorrow. It's sitting at a gas station unfortunately and it's 15 degrees out here. After I plugged the coil back in,the only thing I noticed was a connector right above it for a single female plug it seems. I'm not sure what it's for and I didn't disconnect it. Does the ground for the coil go through the brackets or through the plug?

Did you check any fuses related to the ignition system?

thats the first thing I checked, all of them are fine as far as I seen. I'll give it a second check just to be sure later on today.

Hmm. You should have some signs of life if you have spark and fuel.

Just to be sure.. You've seen fuel/can hear the fuel pump whine when you cycle the key?

And you've verified It absolutely does have spark?

Distributor installed how the old one was or rotor pointing to #1 tdc?

Not much to a tbi motor, just making sure something didn't get over looked.

Didn't listen for the fuel pump but I'm watching fuel come from the injectors.

It absolutely has spark now

Prior to removing the old distributor, I marked on the fire wall exactly where the rotor was pointing. I installed the new distributor the exact same way. Although we couldn't get the distributor to seat all the way. The gear was caught so he hit the ignition to get it to turn till it fell all the way in. The fork for the oil pump wasn't aligning or holding the distributor from aligning all the way from what I understand.
