§ 393.75 Tires.
That's the symbol for 'Statute'. Code of law. The text is from the DOT website. I find it easier to post actual law than to debate a point, when the law is easy to find.
Yeah, that’s what I thought when you posted the first $759.18.
Then you posted $393.75 - I don’t understand what that represents.
Look close.
That's not a dollar sign.

That's a legal symbol. The 393.75 is the "chapter and verse" of the regulations regarding tires. You go into a Government web site--or an actual book--and when you get to 393.75, they'll be talking about what is legal regarding tires.

Not different in concept from the Dewey Decimal System at the library. A bunch of numbers that guide you to the right section.

15 years in tire manufacturing here, there isn't a way to do this that I'd feel safe driving on.

Came for tire info, left with alt+ shortcuts.

ALT 248 is the only one I ever remember.
