brake cleaner is safe to use on the shoes. just pull the drums and give everything inside them a good cleaning. I'm betting you will be suprised at the amount of brake dust build up on everything. Chances are this will fix the issue.

Great, Ill try this first. Just have to wait for the temps to warm up first lol

When I bought the new wheel cylinders, I got the ones specifically for the 14 bolt rear and I matched them to the old ones, they appeared to be identical.

Im guessing your truck came stock with a 10 bolt rear and you swapped to a 14bolt. The 14bolt wheel cyl is more than likely a different size than the 10 bolt wheel cyl. Your master cylinder/prop valve is providing the new wheel cyl with the same amount of pressure as it was providing to the old one, this is where the problem COULD arise. the 14 bolt wheel cyl may require more or less pressure than your master cyl is provided
