I just wanted to close this thread out and say that I was feeling like crap all weekend and couldn't look into it further unfortunatly. He came by on and picked it up and sold it. He advised the new buyer about this problem and he said the buyer was fine with fixing it himself as it was a good enough deal and was local. The buyer didn't need to travel far to get it home to finish fixing it.
If anybody sees a thread with a new member with similar problems you can forward them to this thread.
