I bought a Lund lighted moon visor for a great deal. Sanded and primed and painted. Just need to know if wet sanding is required before clear coat

It's not required. If you put enough coats of color on it, wet sanding would greatly reduce the amount of orange peal in the paint.

If you let the base coat dry for 24hrs you have to water sand it before you clear it. Sand it with 2000 then clear it. Thats really the only time you need to water sand base is if you let it sit to long or have runs in the base

Well it got wet sanded and clear coated. It was just rattle canned for now. When the truck gets turned into a project ill have it done right. I don't have any painting equipment. For a rattle can job it turned out better than expected. It's not a show truck. Thanks for the input!
