I was having an issue with the third brake light working on and off (and the cargo lights dont work at all) so I pealed the lense off and found the sockets very loose and full of green corrosion. We cleaned them up as good as we could, but they still seem to work on and off. Is there anyway to take sockets out of the fixture and just replace those? I don;t really like the looks of any of the LED replacements.

ALso the cruise is very intermittent, can that have anything to do with the 3rd brake light? All the other brake lights work fine, and the brake switch works correctly in the scanner data under trans and abs data pids

I work on electronics some and keep a can of Deoxit D5 and use it on car connections or anything with corrosion. Just like your battery posts, corrosion is a bad thing. Also check any grounds that go to the lights.

I looked at them a little while back, and figured out it's not an Anzo, it's a Spyder. It has held up grate. It's been on my truck IDK at least 10 years maybe longer. IDK what the part number is.
