Searched and searched but keep finding multiple answers. Will the following set up work with a DJM 4/6 drop.

20x8.5 (5" bs) & 20x10 (5.5" bs)
255-40-20 & 295-40-20

Getting a good deal on some Eagle alloy 225 so I'd like to lock in this order before they jump price on me. 5" is the deepest backspace on front and 6" is another option.

Also got a good quote on some American Racing Burnouts, those can be ordered with any backspace.

So, would an off the shelf wheel work or do I need custom backspacing? I'm certain I want to run the size tire listed.

Yes but you don't have enough backspacing on the wheel's that you listed not to mention tires.

The front tires you listed will work they have an overall diameter of 28 inches and stock size is 28.9, and the rear tire size you gave is 29.5 tall, they will probably clear although I have never tried that exact size. You will definitly need to roll your fender lips.

My '98 RCSB with a 4/7 drop has 295-40/20's on the rear. No probs with the fit. Don't know the backspacing. I told the tire guys what I had, & what I wanted. They handled the rest. Steve's Discount Tires. (Chicago?) Great service, & the best prices I found after searching for tires & wheels for over a year.
