Hey everyone, I am having a hard time deciding what size lift I want to put on my 1998 C1500 sbec. I am currently running 31x10.5x15 BFG all terrains with a 15x8 with a -18 offset. My truck is stock ride height right now and looking to get it up some with out going to big. I do a lot of off road driving in it going down 2 tracks and sand trails. I know i have been high centered on snow multiple times pulling into my cabins driveway lol. I wanna know is if a 4inch spindle lift will be to big or If i go with a 2inch lift will I regret not getting the 4inch or vise versa. If i did a lift it will be either the 2ich or 4inch Rough Country has to offer for my truck. If I went with the 4inch how big of tire could I fit? Thanks!

4" for sure. Find 95C1500. He went with 2" and regrets it iirc. I've also heard 2" is hard to align. It'll be worth the $400-500

Yea I'm thinkin the 4inch now, the more and more I'm lookin at trucks I like the 4inch look. It's kinda hard to tell the difference with the 2inch. What size tires are you running Steves's Chevy? I'm liking the stance of that, did you have to do any trimming at all. Or would 31x10.5x15 still lol good with the 4inch lift?

285/70/17 ( basically 33/11.50/17 ) nitto terra graps..... I did have to trim but I had a different lift and was running 315's...

31" tire's are fine but 32/11.50 tires are even better....

Did the 2" hated it. Spindles ride stock, you can run a 32 and it looks dead sexy. Plus aligns like factory.

See I was thinking about going to a 33inch tire if I did the 4inch lift, I like the look of the wheel wells filled with tire. I was looking at getting the Mikey Thompson Baja MTZ Radials next, I hear a lot of good reviews on them for 2wd trucks, and just didn't know what size I want to go with. I mean the stance of your truck Steves's Chevy is great and that's the look I want, clean and not to big. I think I will be going for the 4 inch now
