hey everyone im new to GMT400 and just turned 16.
my dad has gave me his 1994 c1500 (he was the fist owner of this truck) with stock suspension, flowmasters and a 350 engine, also it has almost 400k miles on it (engine and transmission has been replaced by my dad). i want to lift it, and put new wheels, and tires on it .
i was woundering if some of you guys could help me make some decisions on what to put on it. i have been doing some research on lifts and was thinking of going with a rough country 4 inch spindle lift or a maxtrac spindle and spacer lift to equal 6 inches witch they also have a 4 inch spindles. i have never heard of maxtrac suspension but there supposedly made in the USA (witch is what i like about them). also i was thinking about putting some 18x9 fuel hostage wheels on it with some 33's.
please post suggestions and pic's of what you guys think and please post your 2wd's pic with spec here and thank you guys in advance.

Nice 2wd! I would definitely go with the 4 inch rough country spindles. If you are going to replace the tires at the same time get 33's, they fit. I have 31s on mine and I have stock suspension. That truck is clean for so many miles.

Welcome! Definitely go with the Rough Country 4" and some 32"-33" tires. That's a good looking truck you got there. Very clean.
Here is mine.

thanks for the welcome everyone, have any of y'all done the 4 inch spindles and a 1 or 2 inch coil spacer to make it equal 5 or 6 inches of lift. because i was thinking about using a 3 or 4 inch block in the rear, and have any of y'all heard of the maxtrac suspension.
here's a pic of the kit on the website.

I saw Maxxtrac suspension in a magazine (gmt800 with a Maxtrac leveling kit). I've never researched them.

I just recently finished lifting my truck with the rough country 4" spindles and 3" blocks in the rear. I think it looks perfect. Although I am considering replacing the blocks with a shackle flip instead.

So far I only have 31x10.5x15's on it, but once I wear them out a little more I am getting 33x12.5's

iv heard that the 4 inch spindles ride close to stock does any one no if adding spacers to it will make it ride rougher. also hunter04 love your truck how do you like your headlights.

You'll want longer shocks with spacers. They will probably ride a little stiffer.

I love my headlights. I need to get some for my other truck.
