It might, but I am not sure. I have no experience on the administrative end of VB4. I would venture to say no though, only for the fact that it asks us to enter our real first name when registering for the forum and our real first name is displayed on our profile.

I still think there might be a way to code it into the postbit since it's already a user imputed field. I'll keep looking.

yeah, thats what I was thinking....

it can be added in, it'll just insert a field into the settings, so someone who is already registered will have to go input that field in their profile before it'll show

Yes, the thing I wonder is, since there is already a field in our profile for our name, couldn't you just tell VB4 to display that in the postbit like it does our join date, location, etc. etc.?

possibly, you'd probably have to hand modify the coding, but I'm not a pro at VB modifications, Shaggy probably knows better than I do.

I was reading on the VB forums and apparently that code is the exact same way to do it for VB4.

On a side note, anyone see VB5 is in beta?
