Chips98z71 used a shortened stock luggage rack with stock bolts and Napa well nuts.

Would the well nuts be able to handle two kayaks(12ft, 16ft) either on J-racks or upside down laying on bow/cross bar for a few hour high way speed road trip?
is that what is used at the factory?
what do after market roof racks use to attach to the roof skin?
Just worried about flexing and warping the roof skin.

I am looking at putting a roof rack on my truck like a yakima or thule. Anybody got any pics saved where they might have seen one. Not sure how I would mount the rear one one since I have 3 doors. Detailed pics would be great but I'll take whatever I can get.
