stock radio frozen

My radio froze up on the time and station, sick of not having audio and want to fix it. I can turn it on and off but no sound and cant change anything. Also my eq doesnt light up.

Most likely that amp box under the dash bad? Just want to make sure before I order an 100 dollar amp and it ends up not the problem.

Had something similar happen, try disconnecting the battery for 30 seconds then reconnect it, fixed it for me, but no idea why

Had to unplug my battery overnight for it to correct itself.
Factory deck = blechhh. Time to upgrade/supersize!

Well its fixed, it was the amp. I replaced it with an oem unit with an aux cable installed in it.
