Hey guys, as we are tearing into our 97/98 Vortec 5.7 and we keep moving a little further down the rabbit hole
Started out with just replacing the intake gaskets and now it's turning into getting the heads done, camshaft, and everything that goes along with that... Which according to our tuner here in St Louis will require 30-36lb injectors depending on how far down that hole we want to go..
I have done some research on here and online and can't seem to find consistant info? A couple of questions:
1 - What are the OEM Spider injectors rated at?
2 - What about the Delphi/Delco ones - Same as factory or more?
3 - Are there any modifications or other aftermarket options to get to 30-36lb injectors on an MPFI unit for these engines?
I found this one, but price is pretty far up there IMO,.. but might be worth it in the end (?) :

Trying to stay on a budget of sorts, and at the end of the day this is just a daily driver/fun truck to play around in. ( Engine is in a 98 S10 ) ...
Thanks in advance,
Rick
