Another way, if you can, don't mess with the quick connect, take a wrench and unscrew the fitting out of the manifold. Then remove the Quick connect from the pipe fitting.Give the plastic quick release a squeeze, it should disintegrate, and then the hose is free to be pulled out.

Thanks for this. Now, what is the easiest tool to get in there to turn the old one out carefully? FYI, my hood is currently off. A socket. Pretty sure they make some extractor if it breaks, seen it mentioned a few times on forum. Mine spun right out.the easiest tool
