Seat Release Cable

'98 C1500 Cheyenne Extended Cab: the cable/wire rod that releases the driver's seat back as the seat moves forward for extended cab access (located underneath seat) snapped. Does anyone know where to source a replacement or purchase material to fabricate a new one?

My passenger bench seat just got stuck forward...Presently searching the forums for a diagram or photo of how the system works so I can gix it wothout removing the whole seat

Update: removed the bench and found out that the seat will most likely need a new track mechanism. I will probably end up scouring the scrapyard for this part
