Yes we had quadrajets on several cars and trucks back in the day. They all liked to be out on the highway, open up the back bores and let it scream.......
The Burb is happier when we can get up a good head of steam and let it stretch its legs. Several bridges on our commute, one that's really high because it goes over another bridge (it's Houston LOL). If we lean on it a little, it gets to 75 easy by the top, sometimes 80 if we're not careful. 2 big banked S curves right after the down side, so you have to let off. It's easy to tell the people who are familiar with this stretch of the highway. They know where to ease off the gas...... if you don't, there's a nice concrete guardrail that you will kiss.....
