rough idle on start up

Hey I'm new here just looking for some advice on a problem I'm having. I have a 94 chevy k1500 v8 5.7l. I recently replaiced the intake manifold and now upon start up it runs really rough but eventually idles out to a steady 1k rpms. But it will also randomly die out on me and starts right back up. It may have something to do with timing? Any advice is much appreciated

Did it do that before the intake? Is this a new intake and did you use all of your original sensors and sending units?

my old 94 did this turned out that when i un hooked the egr it ran perfect but hooked up it ran as you say . never found the real problem but un hooked egr vacuum line and she ran great

check egr valve
