rearend problems please help

a buddy of mine got the 14 bolt from a guy whose ss was stolen and totaled and put it in his 97 rcsb he is getting rid of it and wants to swap rearends before he trades it does my rearend and a hundred bucks for the 14 bolt sound fair and isnt the 14 bolt posi trac

Sounds pretty fair to me...the 14 bolt 5 lug axles are especially rare too. Cheapest around here I found for a 6 lug is $350. I'm not sure if all the 454ss trucks had the posi rear end or not. Maybe someone else will jump in who knows

i hope it is i dont want to have to tear into it later on i have too many things going on with it now as far as debadge demold cab corners and building a center console my father inlaw gave me a smoothie bumper two months ago and i still havent got around to getting that with 12 to 16 hour work days stupid copper plant
