Question on Pie Cutting Uppers??

I need to Pie Cut my uppers til i can get some tubalers, Does anyone have any good pics?, I know where to cut ,just don't know
if i cut with the truck layed out or with truck lifted any suggestions??

I cant help you, but I curious to know what this means?

When the truck is layed out the ball joints,upper control arm are in a bind. So you can cut them maybe an inch on each side of the ball joint when u
lift or lay the truck the uppers bend like 15 degrees, when u get the bend you like you weld back in place.

Not sure but i have seen it done on s10 chevys but not fullsize, Hoping someone knows.

instead of pie cutting to fix the bind, install some k2500 upper ball joints. they're a direct bolt-on AND they're notched on the sides for extra pivot from the manufacturer.

only the uppers are notched like this (on the k2500) or so i'm told. i haven't examined a lower set before.
