Hey guys what part of my RPO code tells my gearing? I want to know where I am.I put 33's on my truck and it sucks now so Im thinking about re-gearing my truck. I'ts a 94 1500 5.7L. and whats the easiest way to gear my rig down a bit? and whats it gonna cost roughly? and know that this site is mostly american, what are axles worth from wreckers in the states? It is killer bad up here in canada. They assume that 100$ less than lordco or NAPA is a good deal, for some running gear with 300,000 kms on it!

Whoa, 14bff around here is $200 max, complete.

As for RPO codes, GT4 is 3:73, GT5 is 4:10, G80 is limited slip, don't remember what 3:42 is.

Yea I know, I got the 750 to 8 story in kamloops. For the wimpy ten bolt. I can buy one from someone parting a truck out for alot less, but you gotta get lucky to find the right one, when you need it.

The wreckers in 150 Mile House (About 2.5 hours from you) has a bunch of diffs, i have a friend who works there, suppose to see him tonight, ill ask him how much they would charge roughly, might be worth a drive up.

What are you after? 5 or 6 lug? 10 or 14 bolt? know the ratio?

I want to stay 6 lug just cause I dont want to buy new rims and JUST mounted new tires for my 6 lug 16" hahah. And probably 4.10. Im gonna check my RPO but Im guessing I have 3.73. and when I went from 235/85/16 to 285/75/16 it made a huge difference. would like it to feel like it did, but with the big boots.
