Not really an update, but recently I fixed the rest air shocks on my truck, giving me back a good 3 inches of ride height.

Let's get up to speed on the bumper build, definitely excited about this one, you guys will like it if you have not seen it already! Let's get it started.

Last weekend we got it painted and almost finalized. Huge thanks to my Dad, by the way, for helping so much with this. I got some Olympic/Summit white mixed from O'reillys, spent about 20 minutes on the phone with the GM dealer discussing the proper paint codes, and walked out hoping the color matches. Last Saturday we got it sprayed.

The paint was single stage so after several coats it was nice and white, but after trying to polish it out it didn't have the reflection I wanted. Waited a week for it to cure all the way and then sprayed clear coat on it this recent Saturday.

Definitely turned out much better, and needed minimal wet sanding/buffing. Sunday (7-21-2014) the truck was stripped of the old chrome bumper.

Yes, it removes the front license plate, but that doesn't bother me at all, I love the look a lot better on ANY car without a front plate. Some of the bolts were a PITA to get aligned and back in place, but it is bolted on at this point and I am ready to wire the light and get the grille back on.

Light is wired in and the fresh bumper is on! I am extremely happy with the new look, definitely makes it look mean and clean! Waiting on some LEDs for the intake holes next!

Definitely have to say, this was a tough project at times, but it really turned out nice and I am very happy with the result!!

Looks great! Love the diesel smoothie bumper

Here's a recent mod. Added some LEDs to my gauge cluster, just need to do the HVAC and I will be good! Much better result! My few year old Sony Xplod Head Unit also decided it was going to go out, so I replaced it with a Kenwood Excelon series unit.

I like the white bumper and grille, looking good. I can't say I am i fan of the centered light though. It just seems off to me.

Haven't seen you around for a while. Lol. I'm going to be adding some more lights in the intake holes as well, maybe that will make it even out.

Been a while since I've posted here. Nothing new going on...YET, until I can get some extra cash flow. We got our first snow of the year today, so I had to go get some photos of course. haha
