i am new here and i have tried to do some looking on the forum but being as there are many different things that can be done to these trucks, i figured it would be best to just ask questions directly. i recently got a 90 k1500 with a 5.0tbi. im looking into turning it into an off-road truck and i want to get rid of the tbi setup. im going to be looking into a 350 carb swap and im just wondering if i go ahead with it if there is any way to prevent the CEL from coming on. do i just remove the computer and run a fully mechanical setup? and if i do, will any of my gauges stop working?
