Does anyone know of it's possible to wire the parking lights (just the front) to the ignition? If so, how would it be done? I have a 98 sierra if that matters.

Why would this ever be illegal. If the parking lights are on constantly as DRL's I don't know how you could also make them work as turn signals?
Also, in some states it's illegal to drive with parking lights on and headlights off. Although I do see people driving here in Colorado with just parking lights on (where it's illegal to do so).

I drive with parking lights on during the daytime 100% of the time. Safer and looks good IMO. But i hate DRLs.
I've been driving with my parking lights on during the day for over 45 years and never got stopped by the police. I've been pulled over for just about everything else but not that. Now that I say that I'll probably get stopped tomorrow. Why would this ever be illegal.

It would still be my parking lights, I would just use them as DRLs. I have white led switchbacks. They stay on as white, but flip to yellow when turning.
