Oc means open circuit. You have a bad connection somewhere. Your 94 isn't going to have a vss signal at the radio an you shouldn't need it for just a temp/compass unit...

Dic needs a vss signal to apply the correction factor when sitting still for "heat soak" from the rad.

My 89 had a vss signal in the radio harness.

If not, it can be picked up from the drac/vssb module...

Ok I edited my post to remove the wrong info, I figured the only reason the VSS was at the radio was for the speed compensated volume an didn't figure that was available earlier than 96. My bad.....

Thank you great white! Really appreciate all the help but one last question: which one do I tap into for the vss signal?

Just tap into the speedo wire from the vssb.

For some reason, i cannot find a vss input on a 94 radio.

It's entirely possible it does not have one.

I know my 89 worked, but it might not on a 94.

A quck search on google sould turn upthe right wiring disgram for you.

Cheers

Check for a bent terminal in the plug or receptacle.

Check for a popped fuse in the panel.

Likely something simple like that...
