Overhead console for extra storage

I have a single cab, looking to add more storage for stuff.
I found one online, basic shelf for 107$

Anyone made a custom overhead shelf?

Also I want to use an updated visor with the slide outs to block more sun, what would fit my truck?

What year is your truck? The slide outs are on the 95 up interior to the best of my knowledge. May be just on the SUVs,so if you have a wrecking yard close, might want to see what they have. I can say this: the visors will probably need to be re covered as the fabric tends to come loose from the base material of the visor. Had this on both my 99 Burbs.
Also you want to be sure the lighted mirror cover stays closed. That'll drain the battery quick if it stays open and the light stays on (ask me how I know, been there done that!). You can pull the bulb out too,and then it won't come on.
