GREAT!!!! thats exactly what i didnt want to hear. It's either valve rattle or lifter tick. Sounds like a tick.I do not know about that if that is true or not I am no expert on this but imho valve rattle on start-up means your engine is starting to get tired
Sense I leak sht load of oil. I get 15w30 in quarts little thicker. I've noticed that helps the valve rattle on start up. And it raises the oil pressure about 55 60. But I've heard thicker oil will burn up the pump?
Sounds like that. But not as tappy loud. It goes away when you accelerate it a little. And it goes away when it warms up.this is not a gm but it show what lifters sound likexc_hide_links_from_guests_guests_error_hide_media
that means you have one or more weak/bad lifters that are losing their prime and are not staying pumped-upIt goes away when you accelerate it a little. And it goes away when it warms up.
If I can fix it now. What else would need replaced.that means you have one or more weak/bad lifters that are losing their prime and are not staying pumped-up
