Hello everyone! M y name is Scott. I'm form Beckley, WV. I bought my k1500 about a week ago and love it. I'm having a few issues, but its to be expected of a 24 year old truck. I usually join a forum for every vehicle I own since I'm a DIY kinda guy. This truck is replacing my 2002 Impala. I'm loosing the Impala due to hour shortages and prefer a truck anyways. Bye bye to my credit score though... I hate to see it go, but stuff happens I reckon. I've had a few other vehicles, this being my 1st Chevy truck besides a 86 that was given to me after my grandpa passed and then sold without my knowledge... That still gets to me, I was only 13 at the time though. Hopefully I will gain and dish out knowledge and contribute to the community.
1986 Toyota Pickups: 2.4 turbo 22Rt-e, 4x4, 5 speed 31x10.50s, flowmaster muffler and dual 5 inch tips
2002 Chevy Impala: 3400 V6, Overkill PCM tune on 93 octane/ new fuel/timing maps and raised transmission shift points and fluid pressure, K&N drop in filter, Dual Magnaflows w/4in tips and high flow cat. 15% Tint. Blacked out tail lights. Plastidipped trim. Vision "AUTOBAN 168 FWD" 16in wheels. AUTOTEK ATX1000 1000watt amp, 2 pioneer 10's. KYB struts , "OEM" INDY SS Impala grill. A few other things have been done, but I can't remember them all at the moment.
1997 Plymouth Neon, P.O.S, bought for my fiance, blew up and junked
1991 Ford Thunderbird. 5.0 HO, 3 inch y pipe, dual glasspacks and 4 inch tips. Rust got to it, paid $450, Sold for $900
