Water level was the first thing I checked. It was weird, I drove to where I took it all apart, and I had good heat. Literally swapped the head unit and it never got hot again. I do feel a difference between the hottest setting and full cold-and its enough to keep me alive and my windshield clear-but I still have to wear a coat.
