Hi guys,

Hope y'all are doing well. I have looked around here for various things and have found the forum very helpful. I recently purchased a 1989 Chevrolet K1500, 5.7 V8 with silverado package. Looking to use y'all experience as I keep it maintained. Here is a picture of it!

Nice truck, like the "asterisk" wheels. Welcome to the forum, from Houston, Texas.

Welcome from newbie. Great looking truck. First things first, grab a Haynes manual for your year/engine combo. Lifesaver.

I love the look of the quad headlights but with age the adjusters on them can become "difficult" to "unusable".

This topic was covered on GMT400 recently, with some details given on improving / repairing them. I don't have the link handy, but consider yourself advised. If you need that information, it's on GMT400... somewhere
:waytogo:

The factory service manuals can be found and downloaded from here, in searchable .pdf format, grab those for your year:

88-98 Service Manuals

That's a nice looking truck for its age!

What RPO is shown on the sticker for the brakes on that gem?
