New engine

I am looking to get a used engine for my 1999 suburban that has a bad block thanks to a spun main bearing. Can i put a TBI motor with vortec heads in? will it match up?

I believe you need the vortec heads, and the intake manifold (if you plan on going CFI/MPFI), but otherwise I believe so - yes.

you can use a tbi motor but youll need the reluctor and everything off the crank as well as cam and roller assembly.
