Need a starter

So should I go to Oreillys or Autozone or is there really any difference?

I want good parts!

I got an autozone one in my chevelle for like 5 years, and now, one in my truck... they work and have lifetime warranty. cant complain.

the truck was a night and day improvement though. especially with the shims X)

So you had to shim it? I've been lucky so far , Chevys all my life and never had to shim a starter lol

yeah, same here lol
only 2 paper thin pieces though. the original starter would get stuck, groan, and then pop the gear back... probably why it died xD
but the small block is an antique now... after market low quality parts... GM up and quit
