If you are local to Peoria, IL and have a blue interior 88-94 truck I suggest getting to Neal’s U Pull & Save. They have this very nice ‘94 K1500. I took the column but the seats are darn near perfect and so are the door panels. I placed them inside the truck because I found them in the bed. Exterior is shot. Seats are $89 per. Wednesdays is half priced day. $3 admission.

I will also use this thread to post any other finds for people. They had a total of 15 GMT400s there today. Mostly Vortec trucks and a couple TBIs. Less and less I see TBI trucks there. They are either all on the road or got sent to the scrapper long ago. Only 1 4.3 truck, too.

Unless they're really expensive, the '88-'89 quad beam headlights are good for trade or resale. Get the wiring harness or at least clip it with plenty of room to splice into the truck's existing harness. And the little plastic separators between the sealed beams need to be there for full factory correctness. LMC doesn't reproduce those....and they get over $500 for the rest of it. Underhood storage boxes with good lids and reel lights are good finds as well.

Oh yeah I’m always looking for quad beams at the yard. Haven’t seen a set here. I usually pass on the lights. Storage boxes are usually gone already.

Thank you for the mindset to 'save' the door panels by placing them out of the weather. I too am known to randomly place good parts inside vehicles when i find that some a$$hat clown just threw them out on the ground. Some folks really do seem to have $h1t for brains.
I agree! The last trip I made to my local yard, there was a 96-97 truck with a storage box. In the inventory photos, it still had the lid, and it hadn't been there too long. I get to it, the lid is gone. Walking around the truck, found it on the ground,in the aisle! I almost stepped on it.....

I saw that same truck today. The windows were broken and the interior was full of misc. parts. The seats were all muddy. When I was there they were really nice. It really irritates me that those seats could be saved and now they’ll probably be crushed.

I did pull off some parts from that truck today.

If only you were about 10 hours closer, and I haven't been hemorrhaging money I'd be after it.

Good looking out for good parts, despite others trashing good stuff.

I'm still having a tough time believing that I threw away my seat belts. It would take me 13 Hours and 44 minutes to get to the 95 in your image.

I believe those seatbelts would match my interior. The miles that i'd have to put on my duramax in order to get them, would not be worth it.

I've never been to a treasure yard sure seems like a filthy fun place to visit.
