Is it possible to take the brackets and hardware off of a NBS Truck or Suburban 10 bolt Axle?

Im planning on converting to 6 lug by a axle swap.

Just want to know if its possible or am I better off using an entire 10 bolt rearend off of a NBS suburban or truck?

The truck that I want to put it on is a 2WD. And if it makes it a bit cheaper I can hold onto the 5 lug wheels for a bit longer.

Do you want ebrake cables, that limits your choices.
