These are pictures of my truck before paint. Being in Newfoundland, many are impressed by how solid it is. It seems really funny when you look at the pictures, but vehicles usually have a lifespan of 10 years or because the rust here is so bad here. The truck's saving grace was that it spent a majority of it's life in western Labrador where there's no road salt used and it has a dry climate.

The lock was broken on the side window, so the previous owner urethaned the window to keep it shut. I'll have to remove it and probably damage the lacing to remove the excess urethane for paint. I got another window with lacing at a junkyard for $100 bucks.

By having the light rack on the truck, along with diamondplate covering the box rails, there was additional rust with it coming through one spot.

Previous owner had an ATV ramp mount mounted to the tailgate. My guess is he didn't want it to fall off....

I also converted it to have power windows and locks, in case anyone has any questions.

I'm getting her in for paint next week, so more to follow...
