Finished the "Y" pipe this morning. Don't expect to see "stacks of dimes" weld beads if you look closely. But, you're not gonna see "booger" welds either. Getting close to the finish line. Now that the "Y" is finished, I can button up the truck's underside, finish building the A/C lines, put on the radiator support, radiator, bumpers, etc., and attempt first start-up

Gettin' close! Need a couple of hose ends for the A/C discharge line, and an air intake system of some kind. Not sure what just yet. Wiring is done, fuel system is done, exhaust is done, cooling system is done. First fire should be sometime next week

A cold air intake for a H3 Hummer gets kind of close to where the stock airbox sat.

Finished making the A/C discharge line this morning. Will vacuum/charge the system after the engine has been started. Gonna run a Chinesium air intake for now, just to get up and running. It should be here tomorrow or Wed., but won't be a permanent piece.

Got tired of waiting for Amazon and my PRC intake, so went to the local Big Orange box store and bought some plumbing supplies. Not very aesthetically pleasing, but gets the job done.

Had a minor setback when putting in the fluids. Noticed that the coolant funnel slowly emptied when the system should have been filled. Looked under the truck, and sure enough, a small pond was forming. Thinking of all kinds of situations, from bad to worse, turned out to be just a misplaced clamp in a heater hose. Brought the beast to life this morning at 10:30. Definitely doesn't sound like an SBC
