Muffler for a 4.3

My old muffler from discont mufflers r us broke. What is a good muffler that has good flow for a 1991 4.3 C 1500 Not to big on sound as much as i want something that flows better

I put a flowmaster on an S-10 Blazer I had. At idle it sounded like a small block, then the tone/pitch changed with RPM. Didn't sound bad, wasn't stupid loud. Prolly any muffler is gonna be better than stock.

On the blazer do the usr 25. inlet and 2.25 outlet?

This probably isn't the kind of recommendation you're looking for but I have a Gibson single 3" cat-back system on my red '97 with the 4.3L and I love it. It definitely flows much better than the factory system and sounds better than any other 4.3L setup I've heard.

Thanks for that recomendation i bet it sounds good gibson has nice stuff. I decided on a flow master 50 2.5 inch The engine is stock

Not sure what size the pipe was. Wanna say 2.5” but thinking that’s too big, could be 2.25”.

I went 2.5 from the cat into a flow master muffler series 50 delta flow. Then from the muffler to a 2.5 tail pipe. Just doing that woke this truck up. Drives nice i can feel it has a bit more power and runs smoother. Should get those stupid stock headers off now. Nosie not much maybe a bit but I am not waking any one and i can hear the radio just fine.
