It will still take some work, but SAS would make thing a lot easier than adapting an K-series IFS front end to a C-series frame.

You would be way ahead of the game to sell your 2wd before you start making it worthless and use the money to buy a 4wd manual truck and do a SAS on it.

I just swapped an NV4500 from a '92 K2500 RCLB with the SM465 in my '90 K2500 RCLB. I ended up buying the entire truck so I could have any parts I would need for the swap, but honestly all that was needed was the transmission itself. It also has 4.10 gears so I'm still deciding if I want to swap them for my 3.42's. You could run out here to Northern UT and take this '92 off my hands and get all the parts you would need!
