And those 454SS wheels WILL be for sale as soon as I buy some new shoes for it.
Gotta sort out these running issues first, though.
Dave - thanks; I wouldn't be surprised if I dig into it and find something stupid like the hacked-up wiring failed somewhere that a crimp connector or a piece of tape let go while it was sitting. The harness is stretched, snaked, ran around tight bends and sharp edges everywhere, it's a disaster. For example, the first thing I fixed on the harness was where the power to the e-fans had a maxi-fuse just hanging in mid-air with crimp terminals; the plastic body of the fuse had broken apart but the fuse element was still intact. Stupid thing was it was fused about 4" from its power source - the fused aux post on the convenience center.
I'm kinda doubting the MAF as it ran strong previously other than the surging idle in closed loop. Even if the MAF went bad suddenly or was damaged by the backfire, shouldn't I be able to get it to run reasonably well with the MAF unplugged? Because that makes it much, much worse.
Skylark had responded to me over on LS1truck and had suggested Torque and the adapter as well; I looked and saw that Torque Pro is available for BlackBerry so I ordered the adapter which should be here next Thursday. Seems like a database error over at LS1truck ate the last couple replies to that thread though.
