I'm doing a swap on my 90 rcsb 350tbi/700r4, with a 2003 5.3/4l60e out of a rcsb. I'm receiving the cross member from the donor truck with the motor and trans. Can I use the new cross member, and drill new holes in the frame? Or is there a way to mod the existing 700r4 crossmber? Did anybody know the length difference?

Use your original crossmember in the original location with the original mount. If you use adjustable motor mounts with a 1" setback, the trans stays in the same location as the original.
