Hey guys, first post here.
Not 100% whether I'm in the right area but essentially I have a 6.2l/6l80 tranny with the engine harness and pcm; I'm currently in the process of trying to "LS" swap my 95 k1500; which I haven't even touched yet in terms of tearing apart.
I've kind of been trying to gathering some information on what I would need to do on the wiring side of things to mostly retain my factory gauges and such but I'm not certain how well that would work just in terms of how new everything else is and having it all basically communicate and as well wondering how the hell I would hook up an OBD2 port

I swapped a 2015 L96 and 6L80e into a 1996 Toyota Landcruiser. Used a E38 pcm and a speartech harness to get it working. Stock gauges all work except gear indicator and reverse lights. It made the swap pretty simple.
